Logical fact of "you get what you pay for" should be included as publication plans are formed. Everyone wishes for library oversewn hard cover books of fine leather (foil/gilt edging or more), printed on a nice weight (how heavy depending on page count), high cotton content/acid free, fine paper (vellum, high opacity, bright white, etc.). However in the 21st century it's rare to find anyone with the budget that will allow it. For each project there are both expensive upgrades, and sometimes changes that can be made more economically than assumed: This is why communicating effectively with a publisher is important. GCI will work with the customer to get the best quality to fit a publication's needs, while keeping an eye on the budget.

As original and reprint book publishers, we specialize in one color (black on white, brown on cream, navy on gray, blue on blue, etc.) flat printing/work but can be economically competitive in full color, thermograph (raised lettering), etc. - if the quantity is large enough.

Free, basic, quotations based on acid free paper, but you can request a quote for any type, style or weight.
