Sometimes derivative sources (history or genealogy books, transcriptions, etc.) can slow research progress more than working without them. While many rarely think this way: Any resource that is not primary or original may contain more errors (though rarely on purpose). Did you know you might be able to use your phone for manuscript transport and tweaking? There are full fledged apps for most of the production software you may use for your book. For instance, did you know Microsoft Word is free for Android phones? While you wouldn't want to spend much time using your phone's keyboard for composition, it would be super handy if you were traveling and had long layovers. Taking time with your manuscript on your phone may also give you ideas for digital edition(s).
