Did you know your computer program may be able to automatically do several formatting things? If you haven't chosen your program/app, consider what you want to do and what programs can do for you before.

Work with your publisher on the final manuscript format. Remember what may look fine from a computer printer may not look good bound. Likewise, most book presses are not set up to print to the exact edge of the page, therefore some tight margins may not be even economically possible.

Marketing advice

Locally, if no one has thrown you an autograph or release party, you can do one yourself. Make sure you notify all the local media as well as book stores, libraries, etc. in addition to sending out personal invitations.
