Lesser Known & Interesting Lineal Organizations

There are a multitude of heredity societies ranging from the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts founded in 1637 to the National  Society Sons and Daughters of Antebellum Planters founded in 1997, and in between we find such interesting groups as the Associated Daughters of Early American Witches and the Descendants of Illegitimate Sons and Daughters of the Kings of England.

These societies can be extremely useful for someone who is doing family research.  Many of the larger societies publish lineage books which list family lines for several generations.  We will explore the benefits and necessary qualifications of a variety of hereditary societies.
