ARC: abbreviation - Advanced Reading Copy
Archival (Quality): The use of this term varies from the logical definition of the individual words to a wide variety of standards - always have a company explain their definition. See Also Archival webpage. Below is a definition from "Preserving Family Keepsakes Do's and Don'ts", Ilene Chandler Miller, 1996:
"A term that suggests a material or item is permanent, durable and chemically stable and therefore safe for the preservation of our keepsakes."

Hard bound books using bonded leather cover material is a fairly economical upgrade in elegance. A great "coffee table book" cover, it even retains much of the unique smell of leather. This material averages an up-charge of $5.00 per book in small quantities - if the color selected is in stock.

Standard hard binding prices assume books bound on the long edge, however books can be bound on the short edge for as little as $1.00 extra (paper grain running parallel to binding edge).

Not all free PR is good: What to do about a review that doesn't truthfully represent the published content? Look long and hard at the item and seek other's input - is there even a grain of truth to it? Address any facts before moving onto untruths. In print, contact the publisher - any ethical publication will strive for an unbiased product, though reviews are still many times considered opinion. Think positive: This contact may lead to more press that may not have happened without this extra follow up.
