This is not
your traditional speaking engagement or compensation! Bi-annual, all
inclusive, retreat features speakers who want to get away from it all,
and exchange speaking for a discount. Feel free to submit as many topics
as you wish. We always have fun at these small gatherings. Currently, we
are looking toward 15 maximum attendees (including
speakers) and up to 10 topics. Based on
size, we do not plan to have PA equipment available – and have not
needed it at Cave Springs in the past. Speaker will provide handout
material to be included in the sourcebook.
What –
Genealogy in the Woods 2011 – bi-annual Gregath Retreat
When - October 29-30, 2011
Where - Sky Ranch at Cave Springs in rural Northeast Oklahoma
Theme - Back to the Basics - not
necessarily beginners topics, but what basic
foundation principles do attendees need to be
effective researchers and historians.
Honorarium – $20.00 for 1 hour topic
Further Compensation –
Unlimited referral bonus for other paid
attendees: Each paid registration that credits speaker as the primary
referral will credit the speaker's account $5.00. There is no limit to
referral bonus speakers can collect - except space
available. This is a way to further defray
speaker expenses.
