Connie Johnson
Scrapbooking

Connie graduated from Nowata High School and attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, where she met her husband, LeRoy.  Once married, they moved on to Oklahoma State University where she has worked in the documents department of the OSU Library.  Thirty-five years ago, after her husband graduated OSU, they moved back to Afton and have been engaged in farming and ranching ever since. Although Connie is very involved with the family farm, she finds time to enjoy many interests.

Connie and LeRoy have two sons and daughter-in-laws who farm with the family.  They enjoy their three wonderful grandsons.

Johnson teaches adult evening classes at NTC as well as having substituted in several classes at the campus.  Her classes have included: Holiday Crafts, Floral Arranging (both fresh and silk), and Scrapbooking.  Her first experience with scrapbooking occurred when her sons were in FFA.  She had become interested in preserving her own family history not only in textual genealogy, but also with photos.

She is a member of the Fist Baptist Church in Afton where she serves as a Sunday School Teacher for Preschool, Sunday School Director, and Church Treasurer.
