For your information - in case you hadn't noticed yet: USPS has renamed their business class mail rate again. Add standard mail rate to history along with third class, second class, and bulk mail. For business imprint, Standard Mail is still current, with USPS instructing the change to Marketing mail in the future. (5-4-17)

Is there a better way of mailing promotional pieces (postcards, one sheets, etc.), periodicals (catalogs, newsletters, etc.), and books when you have quite a few to send? Utilizing business mail through USPS and allowing the publisher to produce and mail is one way to reduce your per piece cost, as well as looking professional while reducing stress. Gregath maintains a marketing mail permit imprint that can be used for any mailing of 200 pieces or more.

With 200 or more addresses, we can print your target mail piece, address each one (including postage imprint, USPS smart barcode, and other variable data), and take care of the actual mailing.
- Mailing 500 or more? Especially if you think you will send out several mailings, consider a first class permit imprint. With this, you can skip the stamps (like with marketing), get first class service, and still pay less than forever (retail) postage.

What can bulk mail (marketing permit imprint) services do for you?

• Use of an established permit imprint (without paying individual full application and yearly fees) for marketing (non-first class) items.

• Print individual mail pieces individually tailored to your specification (individual salutations or other variable text)

• Address each mail piece individually, utilize EDDM or other options

• Verify addresses with USPS (including adding +4 to zip codes) before mailing, and return to you corrected file upon request

• Produce mail pieces (including self mailers) with USPS intelligent mail barcode (IMb) for further postal discount

• Design or update existing indicia (postage permit imprint) available

• Marketing class sizes include postcards, letter sizes (single sheet/self mailer or enclosed in envelope), flat (large envelope), or package/parcel

• Other imprint discounts can be explored – they range from a mailing minimum of 50 (parcel select) to 500 (first class), though GCI doesn’t maintain these ready to use.

• Cover geographical and some interest areas through USPS every door direct mailing

Pay for GCI to do as much or as little of your 200+ mailing preparation as you would like. Gregath can work from handwritten address list (completingg 9 digit zip at no additional charge) and instructions on what the finished mail piece should be, to a more economical service of nearly camera ready mail piece files with addresses already entered into a table (various formats accepted).
