Deluxe Hard Binding

Authors enjoy these binding benefits:

• Appearance of fine binding, priced affordably.

• Custom cover embossing included in per-book quote (varies based on quantity and size of embossing).

• Text block choices: Library Oversewn (upgrade by request-if applicable), side sewn, or choice of fan or case adhesive. 

• Free Limited Foil Spine Imprint
  (Gold, Silver, White or Black).

• Traditional Corners ANSI/NISO/LIB Z39.78

• Special Back and Spine Cover Imprints and Other Foil/Ink Colors Available. 

All deluxe bindings are at the high end of the book spectrum using LBI guidelines.  A very economical machined alternative to fine binding by hand. Many deluxe features are equal to fine binding.

All the deluxe books feature:

• quality end papers

• library corners & other reinforcements

• milled sides

• your choice of first rate cover materials

• One line system stamping (imprint/embossing) on the spine and one on front, free of charge in your choice of gold, silver, black or white foil (additional lines are available).

• Header and footer bands for spines over 1/2"

• Spines 1/2" and larger always feature rounded rather than square back books - unless different request.

Inquire about upgrades for other select material, color or effect foils. Always available in 2 types of Specialty Cloth, Arrestox, Advantage, Standard Cloth - our most durable cover material and Bonded Leather.
