Kay Fleming comes to us
as a result of a life-long love of history.
A determined curiosity and interest in history served to awaken her
inquisitiveness to learn more about her family history.
Therefore, she has been actively researching for 27 years, following the
death of her maternal grandmother.
She
is a graduate of
Brazoswood High School, Clute, Texas
and
Stephen
F. Austin State University,
Nacogdoches, Texas. Following her
degree program she went directly into education in Lubbock, Texas.
She holds membership in several lineal and patriotic organizations, where she has held various offices over the years. Kay has served as Registrar for her chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
